Web Page Design Class

This site many useful features, and great potential.  The users' portion of the site has changed since I first used it back in 2005.  The new layout is very easy to navigate.  The ability to have subscritions is much better because I can keep my personal blogs seperate from the ones I am subscribed to, I also like how the site is more user friendly than facebook to customize your individual page.

The Test

Tom then stepped into the cockpit of his gundam and began turning everything on.

Once the Gundam was ready to launch it took off like a bat out of hell.

Vice President:  God's speed young man!

Back in the cockpit Tom was looking at the mission logs.  He noticed that there was only one mission put into it's log.  And it read..........

Do what you feel is right, and your country will be proud of you!

Tom:  Alright, well it looks like the first place I need to go is outer space!

Tom flipped through the controls to see if this Gundam was able to go through the atmosphere, let alone have enough thrust and speed to do so.  When he got to the section in the Gundam it turned out that the answer to all of his quetions were yes.  So Tom set the Auto-Pilot on while he caught a few z's in the cockpit.  When he awoke, there it was, the pilot and the Gundam in which he wanted to test his skills.  It was the imfamious Wing Zero and Heero.  They engaged first in conversation.

Heero:  Is this the one who called me out here?  The one who calls himself Spiritdetector?!

Tom:  Correct, I am the one who called you out here.

Heero:  You should know that my days of fighting are over.  There is no need for me to fight anymore.

Tom:  But there is still just one reason left for you to fight.

Heero:  And what is that?

Tom:  To test my Gundam's skills!!!!!!

With that, Tom's Gundam went flying towards Wing Zero at incredible speeds.  Just as the Destiny Gundam got within a hundred feet of the Wing Zero, the Destiny pulled out its Bazuka and shot at Zero.  But with the Zero having it's imfamious Zero System, Heero was able to see the attack coming, and dodge the bazuka shot fired by the Destiny.  As the destiny was about to zip by the Zero, it spun into a complete 180 firing another bazuka shot this time at point blank rage.  This time the attack was going to hit, and there was nothing that Heero was able to do to get away from it.

Heero:  Damn it!!

The shot from the bazuka left the area that was hit smoking from the difference between the coldness of space, and the now superheated plating of the Wing Zero.

Heero:  You're good, but not good enough!!!

Heero tapped on several buttoms in the cockpit and flipped some switches.  His Gundamn then reacted by pulling out it's beam saber at the same time the vulcans on the Gundams shoulders activated.  The vulcans shot at the Destiny which evaded them with ease.  Predicting what the Destiny was going to do next, Wing Zero then went to fly above the Destiny.

Tom:  Shit!!!

Seeing what was going to happen as the Wing Zero got into position, and watching the beam saber pull back ready to strike the moment he gets in range.  He knew that he had to do something fast, thats when it hit him.  He threw the shield at the Wing Zero, then the legs opened up showing the plasma cannons.  Each arm grabbed one, and fired the plasma cannons.(for those of you who do not know what a plasma cannon is, it is a super heated material that is found on the sun.  It can be replicated, and gets to me the temperature of the suns surface.)  The 6,000 degrees C plasma came at Zero without any time to react, because even if he could dodge it, the heat from the plasma would still have a major effect on Wing Zero.  One bolt of plasma hit Wing Zero in the shoulder, melting the shoulder completely and causing the right arm to fall off.  The other blot just missed the left side of Zero, but the effect was still very bad.  The entire left side looked as if it was melted, then cooled ultimately hardening the entire left side so it couldn't move.

Tom:  Heero this I is enough.  I only wished to test my skills, and now that I have done that I feel that my task here is complete.  I will now send you back.

The Destiny pushed Wing Zero back in the direction of the L3 colony where someone will find him.  Then without giving a second thought flew off.

And It's Name Is Destiny

As Tom awoke, it was nearing the time for him to head out on his next mission.  He thought to himself as he got ready.

Tom:(thinking)  I wonder what today's mission will bring.  Will it be another overseas mission, or will it be a hometown mission?

He soon laid those thoughts to rest as he finished putting on the uniform that was given to him by the military.  This uniform bore no markings as to what side he was on in case of capture, and neither did any of the jets he flew in.  The reson for this was because all the missions that he went on after becoming an ace pilot were missions that were never on record, and that were to never be known to the public.  Getting on his motorcycle Tom readied for what he thought would be the same as any other day, but boy was he going to be wrong.  As he got to the gates of the military base, they guards checked his pass, and told him to go on in.  They said that he was to being expected.  As he entered into the doorway of a dark room, he was greeted by the Vice President, and the Military General.

General:  Hello Spiritdetector!(he said sharply)

Tom:  Hello Sir!  But what is with the change, you normaly call me by my name?

Vice President:  Code name  Spiritdetector!!  You are apart of a project that has been deemed only as Destiny.  There are currently 4 projects like this in the entire US, but we selected you as one of the pilots.

They walk through a set of steel doors, and onto a catwalk.  The lighting is still very dark that one can see beyond several feet in front of them.

Vice President:  I now present to you the Gundam known Only as project Destiny

The Lights kicked on to show the gundam.

Tom:  Sirs this is impressive!  I can't wait to see how it handles!!

Vice President:  Here are the papers with its statistics.

Tom began reading them off to himself as he looked at the pages.

Tom took his motorcycle out of the military base, and the hum of the engine roared as he turned sharply out from the military base.  Within a half an hour Tom had reached the cafe where Necrosis and him meet every week.

Necrosis:  Hello Tom, it's been a while.

Tom:  Yeah it has.  So what have you been up to?

Necrosis:  You know I can't tell you any offical business.

Tom:  I know, but what about unoffical?

Necrosis:  Well I heard from our friend The Blue Inferno.

Tom:  Yeah, and what is he up to?

Necrosis:  The usual, fighting and secret missions.  Just like us.

Tom:  Yes, I see.  So where did you come from this time?

Necrosis:  From a European country near the Asian border.

Tom:  How was it there?

Necrosis:  Not bad, the weather was nice.  But the jet lag is a killer if you know what I mean?!(begins to laugh)

The two then part their seperate ways after talking for several more hours.  When Tom got back to his room, he sat down on his standard issue bed.  As he lay on his back, he began to ponder.  Thinking about his past he wondered what things would have been like if he had stayed out of the military.  Also he began to think about the girl from back home, and what it would have been like between them if he had stayed there.  For those who do not know of his past, that is a story for another time.
